Back in 2005, I cut my teeth on IT by managing printer installations, deploying countless laptops with Windows and Office, and providing first line support to customers. Amidst those challenges, I still had some extra energy to convince users that their tower PC’s CD-ROM drive was not an ideal spot for a steaming coffee mug!
Fast forward to the next 15 years—I immersed myself in the world of VMware as a Systems Administrator. My developer skills fueled my curiosity, and I always found a way to add scripts to optimize processes. Whether it was automating routine tasks or fine-tuning virtual environments.
In 2020, I embarked on a transformative journey. I transitioned from my lifelong role as a Systems Administrator to the dynamic world of a VMware Solutions Design.
Being a Solutions Design means wearing multiple hats, not only draw upon technical expertise but make sure solutions adhere to industry best practices and above all, validate that the final product meet both business objectives and customer expectations. Listening to our customers — truly hearing their pain points, aspirations, and goals — is paramount
